Slow your eyes down. Follow a curve through the leaves, a pattern between the stones, a shape that does not quite belong. Ten original outdoor scenes. One hidden snake in each.
How to hunt
- Start a hunt and look carefully for one snake in each picture. Tap or click its body; you do not need to hit an exact pixel.
- A wrong tap removes 2 seconds without moving or revealing the snake. Keep searching until the clock reaches zero.
- Use your single hint to highlight about 27% of the scene for one second. It shows a region containing the snake.
- A find reveals the snake for about 1.35 seconds. A timeout reveals it for 2 seconds. The next round then begins automatically.
- Pause whenever you need a break. Switching tabs or apps pauses the hunt; press Resume to continue.
Every second counts
Each find earns 100 points plus the remaining displayed seconds × 10. The countdown uses whole seconds rounded up.
Find the snake without a wrong tap for an extra 50 points. Using the one hint does not remove this bonus. A timed-out round earns no points.
Rounds 1–2: 20 seconds. Rounds 3–5: 18 seconds. Rounds 6–8: 15 seconds. Rounds 9–10: 12 seconds. Camouflage increases, but the snake stays visible.

What is Find the Snake?
A free, single-player observation game. Find one camouflaged snake in each of 10 original outdoor scenes before its timer runs out.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. Play in portrait or landscape with touch or a mouse. The scene keeps its full picture when resized. No download, payment or account is needed.
How do the hint and wrong taps work?
You get one hint per game. It briefly highlights a large region containing the snake. Each wrong tap costs 2 seconds, with no score deduction and no immediate reveal.
What changes when I replay?
Each scene has five valid hiding spots. Play Again keeps the scene order and chooses different spots. New Challenge also reshuffles all 10 scenes.
Can I pause or use a keyboard?
Yes. Pause hides the scene and stops the clock. Switching tabs or apps also pauses. Optional keyboard controls use arrow keys to move a search cursor, Shift for smaller steps, Enter or Space to select, and Escape to pause.
Is anything saved, and is there sound?
The game is silent. Only your personal best score is saved locally when browser storage is available. Unfinished games are not saved, and clearing browser data removes your best score.
